The platinum/palladium print, a printing process that is known historically for it`s depth, detail, tonality and permanence has with a new proprietary collaboration, taken a quantum leap. A partnership between photographer David Brookover, Photo Craft Imaging, and Hidden Light LLC combines David's vision, the mastery of modern technology along with impeccable historic, traditional printing methods, to create a new standard for fine art collectors the world over. Our innovative approach to this timeless medium has now eclipsed the initial platinum/palladium printing process, which dates back to the 1870`s. With this unique process, David`s standards for sharpness, detail and contrast/tonality control can be assured with the archival tested stability of platinum, a metal more stable than gold. In combination with palladium, the prints explore a new dimension in contrast, luminosity, warmth and size resulting in a dramatic paradigm shift in black and white photography. Please visit out new web site at: BrookoverPlatinum.com for an exclusive look at only our Platinum / Palladium prints. |

David`s deep appreciation and respect for Japanese and French art as well as their respective cultures, along with Corey Allen`s printing recommendations, laid the foundation and search for specific substrate papers produced in both countries which have a long, revered history dating back centuries. Both countries have set and held these standards of perfection demanded by masters of various mediums thoughout time with their exotic and archival fine art papers. Our combination of paper and printing process has an archival range beyond 1500 years. These prints are not only admired by fine art lovers but coveted by collectors due to their contemporary uniquity. David is a true believer in keeping his style and content of photography firmly planted in the fine art realm. These distinctive prints are matted using only the finest archival non buffered materials available which are then wrapped in silk. They are framed with some of the finest Italian mouldings in the world. |
